Life Goes On ~ My Opinion
So much going on. The world feels like it’s falling apart. Everything is out of sorts. People are stressed, anxiety is high, and others just don’t care which makes others even more mad. Stop! Take a deep breath. Exhale all of that emotion. No matter what we go through, life goes on. We can lose our job, our house, or a precious loved one and life will go on. We can be physically ill, emotionally collapsing, or fighting another battle and life will go on. It’s not going to stop for you or anyone. So, YOU need to stop. You need to regroup, rejuvenate, and you need to continue to…

Minimalist or Knickknacks ~ My Opinion
Fads come and go. Decorating is one of them. People pushing their thoughts on design is at a high. The feedback can be brutal. I have seen posts on Facebook pages of people asking for suggestions on a picture and someone will blast them on the entire room. Change your paint, put in new floors, you need new furniture, etc. Some can be relentless. Who would think that decorating your home could lead to name calling, belittling comments, and humiliation? It’s unbelievable how people feel the need to rip others apart instead of give compassionate criticism and build someone up. It’s so easy to tear others down. I understand people…

New Year, New Delete ~ My Opinion
Every year you see the phrase, ‘New year, new me’! With social media it is now common to see, ‘New year, time to clean up friends list’! Then BOOM…. delete, delete, delete. Back in the day we had real friends. We hung out with them. We had fights, made up, and life went on. Or we had fights, the friendship ended and our hearts broke because we had a human physical connection that was now gone. Today, we hit UNFRIEND, move on to the next post and no tears shed. We are human heartless robots. I have been unfriended over the years by a few people that I thought were…

No Resolutions ~ My Opinion
The New Year is right around the corner! People will be celebrating, welcoming in the new year and making the annual resolutions. New year, new you! Building up the anticipation of conquering the resolutions and not crashing after week three. It’s all very exciting! It’s all very exiting until you miss the gym two days in a row and you call it quits. Why did you think this year would be any different? What made you think that you would stick to the resolutions now when you failed the last ten years? Stupid resolutions anyway! You are not a quitter. You are not a failure. You are a warrior! But…

Rude Ass People – My Opinion
***Warning: foul language***Oh. My. Gawd! What is the matter with people? I know we have had plain mean ass people before we were even a country, but good grief! With social media it just really shines so bright! Why on earth do people feel the need to respond to a post as just a total ASS****! I don’t get it. Why do people have to be so mean to others and belittle them? A post about Rudolf can turn into a presidential debate for God sakes and calling names! It’s absolutely ridiculous! People that feel the need to be mean towards others such as calling names, being critical, being belittling,…

Politics and Hate – My Opinion
Politics! Good grief! I am so sick of this. I think many Americans are. The news, the tweets, the memes, and the current election. What gets to me most is how rude, mean, aggressive, hypocritical, and just plain jerky people can be! Why be that way? There are people strongly supporting the president who consider themselves ‘conservatives’ and this president is anything but conservative. And conservatives state they are strong Christians yet they blast and smear those who do not agree with them. THAT is not proper Christian behavior. I’m not saying it is everyone and I try not to group all as one. I have seen many that have been…

Disobedient Kids – My Opinion
You laugh when your child screams in the store, not out of embarrassment but because you find it funny. You constantly repeat the name of the child to make them stop but even with you constantly repeating the name the child continues and now we have to listen to you too! Your child takes others toys and you feel they should share and not make your child cry. Your child throws a tantrum and you give in so your child is not hurt or upset. Control your child! Whether it’s your child, a grandchild, niece, nephew, or what have you. These kids are running a muck and we are so…

Unity is a Choice…….
We were born with no choices. We weren’t able to choose to be American, African, Asian, or any other nationality. We didn’t have the choice of hair, eye, or skin color. We couldn’t decide what sex we would be. We were just born how we were with what was given to us. As we grow, we get choices. We decide what we like and don’t like. We choose how we live our lives. We choose to attend school and be educated. We choose what job we will do for a living. We choose where we will live. Of course, life alters plans and we do what we can at where…

Finding Christmas spirit………
I love Christmas! This is my favorite time of the year. I love the baking, music, festivities, and family time. I love the idea of snowflakes possibly falling on Christmas day. I love the giving, smiles, and friendly people. Not everyone feels the way I do. Some people look at Christmas as a money maker. Some see it as a Christian holiday that they don’t want to partake in. Some are missing loved ones and just can’t find the holiday joy. If you have a humbug attitude or a heart filled with sadness, let this be the year those feelings go away. Christmas is what you make it. I don’t…

When you want to quit life………..keep going!
Life can be tough. It can knock you down. It can barrel you over. It takes unexpected punches we weren’t prepared to protect ourselves from. Life can make us want to curl up and stay there. The outside world is angry and brutal. It is easier to stay inside and hide. Some just don’t want to live it at all and want to give up. But don’t! This is it! One life. One glorious life. I know to many it may not seem too glorious right now. I know there are some on the last leg of wanting to live it. I know there are days that feel like they…
