    Christian Judgement ~ My Opinion

I’m a Christian. That’s how I look at it. I’m not Catholic, Lutheran, Presbyterian, Baptist or anything else but Christian. I have been to many churches. I have been to all of those I just stated. I have searched many times for a church fitting my needs. While doing this, I have learned watching many churches and how their people respond to others and their judgement toward people outside of their realm. I’m proud to be a Christian. I am not embarrassed by it. I don’t preach the Word but I share. I don’t mission but I try to inspire. I am not ashamed to stand for what I believe.…

    You are more…….

Sometimes we feel less than. It can be caused by a stranger, boss, co-worker, friend, family member, or a partner in life. Things they say or how they treat you can make you feel belittled, disrespected, or degraded. It hurts and tears at your inner being. It can have you questioning your qualities, abilities, worthiness, or even your purpose. It could be about your job position, a silly disagreement, or your meaning of life. Depending on the length of time you deal with it, it can be breaking you down. You shouldn’t question anything about your life unless it’s to better yourself and not putting yourself down. If you work,…

    Dear Toni Tuesday……..

Dear Toni, I have been trying to fulfill a dream for a couple of years now but it just isn’t happening. How long do you keep trying before you give up? Sincerely, R Dear R~ I give you kudos for following a dream and taking steps to achieve that goal. Good for you! Goals/dreams are very important to grow and achieving them is a wonderful feeling. Some dreams take a while to achieve. Some can wear us out. Do we continue and not give up or do we just say enough is enough. How much longer can I keep trying? Is this not meant to be? When to stop is…

    Dear Toni Tuesday……..

Dear Toni, There is so much happening in the world right now that is negative. The politics, protesting, fighting, racism, mass shootings, and so much more. It’s too much. It makes it hard to stay motivated. With so much bad, how can you focus on the good? T Dear T~ Very good question. I am going to answer this in two ways because I don’t know if you are asking me directly or in general. As for me… I focus on the positive as much as possible. I am also realistic which has caused me to be called negative. You can be positive but still see what’s going on around…

    Dear Toni Tuesday……

Dear Toni, I’m so tired of working everyday to go nowhere. I can barely get by and I’m tired of scraping and working so hard. I just need a break. Any suggestions? T Dear T~ You may not like my response to this but ….. work! That’s all you can do. We need to work to survive and at time we are JUST surviving! It’s tough. Many people who make it big worked hard to get there. Many were below survival at the time. JK Rowling, who wrote the Harry Potter series, was broke, a single mom, and contemplating suicide. Now a billionaire. To make it more simple, a friend’s…

    Dear Toni Tuesday……

Dear Toni, My friend unfriended me on Facebook because of a debate we had on politics. It’s so stupid that she would unfriend me when I have known her for twelve years. I don’t know what to do. Do I try to talk to her? Do I leave it alone? I know we are suppose to let things go and move on but do I move on without her or try to mend this? Right now she hasn’t said anything else to me. Thank you. Truly, V Dear V~ I have heard of this happening quite a bit. In fact it has happened to me. I am also perplexed that…

    It’s No Accident

“Wow! This world is crazy!” We are hearing this more often now days. With the political battles, the race division, the cop issues….. it just seems that more aggressive behavior is on the horizon. Not just in the United States, but with other countries around the earth. It seems there is so much anger. The media boasts on problems with our country and elected officials. It pushes division among race, leadership, and first responders. The environment feels tense. People seem to be acting irrational and appear to judge. People are convicted before even standing trial. Businesses cave to save face and their customers. Media is left to be untrue and…

Dear Toni, I have been sick for years with COPD. I know it’s getting worse and the doctors say I have about 3 years at the most to live. I am scared because December showed me how quickly I would go. I am remembering less and less and it scares me to death to not remember my kids, grandkids, true love, high school or my marriages. Doctors say I won’t know a lot soon so I revised my will, updated my life insurance and will live! I know I am not ready to go so God’s Plan will just have to wait! ~J Dear J, I just lost a…

    Dear Toni Tuesday……..

Dear Toni, I am in college with only one more year to go. I don’t think I want to pursue this degree and thinking of quitting school and just getting a job. I don’t want to disappoint my parents but I’m tired of school and don’t know what I want to do now. What do you suggest? -A Dear A~ I suggest that you stay in school and finish out your degree. I suggest this for a few reasons. One being that I feel education is strongly important if you are able to get it. This is not something to take for granted. If your plans change, you can always…

    Finding Christmas spirit………

I love Christmas! This is my favorite time of the year. I love the baking, music, festivities, and family time. I love the idea of snowflakes possibly falling on Christmas day. I love the giving, smiles, and friendly people. Not everyone feels the way I do. Some people look at Christmas as a money maker. Some see it as a Christian holiday that they don’t want to partake in.  Some are missing loved ones and just can’t find the holiday joy. If you have a humbug attitude or a heart filled with sadness, let this be the year those feelings go away. Christmas is what you make it. I don’t…
